PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network device management device and a management method capable of providing the information of high utility value by a user. SOLUTION: This network device management device comprises network devices to be managed 20, 30, 40 respectively having an SNMP agent and an SNMP management station module 51 performing the communication by SNMP, acquires the information on the managed devices from the SNMP management station module 51, and determines whether the notification is necessary or not. When it is determined that the notification is necessary, the SNMP management station module 51 notifies a condition of the managed devices 20, 30, 40 as the trap outputted by the managed devices to a management software 52.
