The invention relates to the use of water-soluble homopolymers and/or copolymers of acrylic and/or methacrylic acid with one or more acrylic, vinyl or allyl monomers as a dispersion and/or grinding-aid agent for mineral particles in aqueous suspension. The invention also concerns the said aqueous suspensions as well as their uses in the fields of paper, paint and plastics materials.
