<p>A MoSi2 heating element in the form of a belt, characterized in that it is prepared by extruding a material into a belt form and sintering the formed material having a belt form; and a method for preparing the MoSi2 heating element, characterized in that it comprises blending a raw material powder with a binder, extruding the resulting mixture into a formed product having a belt form using a mold, and then degreasing and sintering the formed product. The MoSi2 heating elements in the form of a belt can be densely disposed on a bottom wall, an upper wall, a side wall and the like of a heating furnace or the like, are free from the occurrence of a trouble such as a short circuit, and is capable of heating an article to be heated with improved accuracy.</p> |
