A method for producing stamped connecting strips, e.g. copper strips, has a continuous feed stamp process which produces two interdigitated strips, with little or no waste. The stamped strips are fed to a special roller system with two blocks each provided with a hole for a roller and with offset input and output feeds. The roller has a spiral groove for each block, to take one connecting strip. The block and roller system separate the strips using a common drive and with a minimum of damage risk for the strips.
