The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising, as active principles, a derivative of 5-phenoxyalkyl-2,4-thiazolidinedione type and an alpha -glucosidase inhibitor, in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. These compositions are particularly suitable for treating diabetes.
