Dispersed electrode for use with electrochemical generators comprises a suspension of an electrode catalyst in an electrolyte, pref. acid, the catalyst pref. consisting of a mixture of granulated MnO2 and active carbon. The MnO2 used is either of the ramsedellite, or gamma-MnO2 types. The electrolyte used is pref. is not >2N H2SO4.
