Each of the ornamental buttons (2) is provided with a small metal bow (4) at the rear surface for the insertion of the outer ends (5) of the joint element (3). Both ends (5) of the joint element (3) have the shape of an open pair of tweezers. After the ends (5) have been inserted into the metal bows (2) they are squeezed together with a suitable tool forming a durable connection.
