A connector for an exhaust gas duct, e.g. a chimney for a heating unit, has a widened end of the exhaust duct fitted with an internal elastic sealing sleeve into which is fitted the chimney duct. The whole system is secured by clamps fitted to the outside of the widened duct. The ridge pattern on the inside of the sleeve is spiral to fit onto the corrugated chimney duct. The ends of the elastic sleeve are lipped to seat in to grooves inside the widened end of the exhaust duct.
