<p>A pult layer is formed at each of several stations on an endless paper felt, the layer at each station being formed between the felt and an endless filtration screen passing around an associated roller. At the outlet of each station a squeezer roller and suction devices are provided to remove excess liquid and prevent liquid being flung centrifugally off the roller on to the pulp layer, thereby preventing deterioration of the layer and producing a stronger paper.</p> |
