t is described herein a mechanism controlling the movement of a netting fitted on doors or windows to impede the insect penetration. More precisely, it concerns a mechanism functioning with the help of a rapidly folding conventional spring mechanism fitted on a unit meant to damp and control the movement of the netting; said unit consists of a chamber containing a fluid of controlled viscosity and of an appropriate means such as alternating piston or rotary blade moving into same chamber. Thisleads to the slow, controlled retraction and deployment of the netting and the prevention of possible accidents and damage that could occur by uncontrolled movement.
