<p>Three IrDA fixing units (80, 81, 82) provided on the control substrate (59) of a printing device (1) are connected to the CPU (30) as individually independent wirings. An IrDA light receiving element (34), capable of delivering a similar effect in the printing device (1) even when fixed to any portion of the fixing units (80, 81, 82), can be fixed to a desired fixing unit (80, 81, 82) to thereby enable the location of an infrared communication port to be changed without changing the design of the control substrate (59).</p> |
