All known combinations of weighing scales and operation table are designed with the scales positioned below the tabletop, resulting in an operation table of a considerable height, making the lifting of the animal to be operated difficult. The new design is assembled of a frame surrounding the platform to be used as a worktop as well as for weighing purposes.
