PURPOSE: A homogeneous parallel alignment liquid crystal display device is provided to restrain the generation of texture by variously modifying patterns for improving the screen quality and the viewing angle by dividing pixel areas into a plurality of small areas. CONSTITUTION: A homogeneous parallel alignment liquid crystal display device includes a TFT substrate and a color filter substrate. The TFT substrate is formed with pixel electrodes(90) in the matrix shape in pixel areas defined by the gate and data lines intersecting each other, and thin film transistors connected to the gate and data lines and the pixel electrodes. The color filter substrate faces the TFT substrate, and formed with color filters, common electrodes on the color filters, and protrusion patterns(510-530). The protrusion patterns have areas(A) at least partially formed in the concave and convex shape. The protrusion patterns divide the pixel areas vertically and horizontally into small areas(91-93). |
