摘要 The invention relates to the return flow of brake fluid from the pedal travel simulator (PWS) to the auxiliary braking circuit. The pedal travel simulator is embodied as a spring-loaded cylinder (8) with a coupled and controlled hydraulic servo piston (11) and with a reinforced pressure-spring (9). The brake fluid located in the pedal travel simulator (PWS) is conveyed to the auxiliary braking circuit (9) by the pressure spring (9). The spring power of the pressure spring (9) is dimensioned in such a way that minimum pressure prevails in the pedal travel simulator (PWS) if the piston (12) of the pedal travel simulator (PWS) is located in a terminal position on the input side, said minimum pressure being sufficient according to the requirements of the general provisions for vehicle specifications, EU directive 71/3210 and rule 13, in order to maintain the auxiliary braking system. In a normal operational mode of the electrohydraulic braking system, the pedal travel-pedal force characteristic of the pedal travel simulator (PWS) is adjusted by hydraulic control of a coupled hydraulic cylinder (7).
