At least one of the bending elements has a thrust surface (5) against which the edge (6) of the metal plate abuts so that only the edge part of the metal plate is bent at a set distance from the plate's edge. The upper bending element has a lug-shape (8) gripping over the thrust surface; the lower bending element has an edge (9) around which the plate is bent.
