A telecommunications device has a housing (1,2) which has at least one sound-entrance opening (16), and has a microphone (5) which is arranged inside the housing (1,2) in the region of the sound-entrance opening (16) so as pick-up the sound entering the housing via the opening (16). A device (61,62) arranged between the housing (1,2) and the microphone (5) is provided for all-round acoustically decoupling the microphone (5). An Independent claim is given for an acoustically damping holder for a telecommunications device with a microphone.
