<p>A rotating electric machine comprises a rotor, a stator and stator windings including high voltage cable forming coil end arcs, fixed by bracing means. Said bracing means include blocks (1) each having a cable opening (2) tightly surrounding the circumference of the cable at one point of one of the coil end arcs, each block (1) being interconnected with at least one other block (1) on a parallel part of another coil end arc, thus forming a chain of blocks (1) fixing these coil end arcs at another. Each block (1) has two plane parallel faces on either side of said cable opening (2), at least one undercut slot (5, 6) being formed in one of said faces in parallel with the cable opening (2), a mating strip (3, 4) on a plane parallel face of another block (1) being insertable, along the cable opening (2), into said slot (5, 6), thus interconnecting the two blocks (1) with their adjacent plane faces abutting against each other.</p> |
