<p>A coupling device is provided which prevents any leakage of a fluid from an auxiliary opening/closing valve (53) in its female coupler (4) with a simpler arrangement and also seals the fluid containing air in the female coupler (4) even if the pressure of the fluid remains or is as low as the ambient pressure level when its two couplers are separated from each other. While the female coupler (4) is detachably coupled to the male coupler (3) in the coupled position, provided on the distal end of a cylindrical member (70) of the female coupler is an annular seal element (78) which comprises a first annular seal portion (78a) for sealing between a protruded cylindrical member (13) of the male coupler (3) and the cylindrical member (70) of the female coupler (4) in the coupled position and a second annular seal portion (78b) forming a valve body portion (73) of the cylindrical member (70), two seal portions formed into a single unit. <IMAGE></p> |
