A fuel injection system for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine with at least one fuel injection valve (2) and one fuel distribution line comprises, for each fuel injection valve (2), an inlet (6) that can be connected to an inlet section (9) of the fuel injection valve (2). A corrugated tube (3, 21) is placed between the inlet (6) of the fuel distribution line and the inlet section (9) of the fuel injection valve (2). The corrugated tube (3, 21) comprises two identical end sections (4a, 4b) that can be concentrically brought together with guide sections (5a, 5b) of the inlet section (9) of the fuel injection valve (2) and of the inlet (6) of the fuel distribution line. Sealing means (17) are placed on the end sections (4a, 4b) in a manner that prevents them from becoming lost.
