Between the battery unit (28) and the housing (12) an elongated auxiliary tool (38) is stored, especially for detaching the tool, preferably for detaching the saw blade. Said manual machine tool is rendered safer and more convenient in operation by disposing the auxiliary tool (38) in such a manner that it is visible from the exterior, and can be easily felt for and especially accessed.
