PURPOSE: A high-speed searcher of a mobile communication terminal is provided to store consecutive phase PN code strings of a PN code generator in another shift register, and to consecutively multiply the code strings by receiving signals stored in the shift register to accumulate the multiplied values, thereby obtaining correlation values. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second clock generators(100,200) generate clocks having different speed. A switch(SW2) selectively inputs clocks generated in one of the two clock generators(100,200). A PN code generator(300) generates consecutive PN codes having optional phases at the selected clock speed. The first shift register(400) temporarily stores received signals in a pilot channel. The second shift register(600) stores the PN codes at the selected clock speed. A multiplier(500) multiplies a pilot channel signal by the PN codes. An adder(700) accumulates values outputted from the multiplier(500). A counter(800) counts clocks of the second clock generator(200). |
