PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to achieve improved discharge efficiency by lowering the discharge voltage and reducing the discharge current, while preventing degradation of screen quality. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a plurality of discharge electrodes(11) extended in parallel with each other on a substrate, metal electrodes(12) formed in each of the discharge electrodes in the direction same as the discharge electrode forming direction, and a plurality of cut-out portions(14) formed in the area of the discharge electrode where the metal electrodes are absent. The cut-out portion occupies 5 to 30% of the total area of the discharge electrode. |
