摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing slag outflow from ladle into tundish during continuous casting process is provided to reduce manufacturing cost of molten steel, to prevent a submerged entry nozzle from being clogged and to improve real yield rate of molten steel by minimizing an amount of molten steel remaining in a ladle. CONSTITUTION: Molten steel contained in a ladle(110) is introduced into a tundish through a submerged entry nozzle. The apparatus includes a slag outflow preventing section(10) and a gas inlet section(30). The slag outflow prevention section(10) is arranged on a submerged entry nozzle formed at a bottom surface of the ladle(110). The slag outflow prevention section(10) has a slag outflow prevention tap(11) formed with a molten steel inlet(12) and a slag discharging port(14). The gas inlet section(30) keeps the temperature of molten steel steady by igniting combustible gas supplied into the slag outflow prevention tap(11).
