Cleaning inside of heat exchanger channels using gas, by using compressed gas to drive rotary tool inside channel and removing debris by suction

A driveable tool (7) with a boring or scraping action is introduced into a channel (6) along with the compressed gas (17). The tool is made to rotate by the gas, removing the deposits (16) from the inside of the channel. The removed deposits are then sucked out of one end of the channel with the gas. An Independent claim is also included for the cleaning device used to carry out this method.
