PURPOSE: A traction sensor setting apparatus for testing endurance of a seat belt is provided to reduce cost and to effectively carry out the endurance test by testing various kinds of vehicles using one setting apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A traction sensor setting apparatus includes a sensor holding ring(11), which is supported by a bearing and an angle adjusting gear(10) in such a manner that an angle of the sensor holding ring(11) is adjustable. A pair of gear holders(13a,13b) is provided to support a ring holder(12) and the angle adjusting gear(10). A locking stopper(14) is positioned between the gear holders(13a,13b) in order to restraint a movement of the angle adjusting gear(10). The ring holder(12) is integrally formed with a rear end of the gear holders(13a,13b) by means of a base plate. A base bracket is assembled with the base plate(15).
