PURPOSE: A composition based on a vegetable fiber is provided to obtain a disposable food container which is environmentally and ecologically favorable. A process for producing the disposable food container is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The composition for a food container comprises 98 wt% of a vegetable fiber, 1 wt% of a natural vegetable adhesive and 1 wt% of a coating paint. The composition further comprises 0.2 to 10 wt% of gums. The process for producing a disposable food container comprises the steps of: (S1) preparing vegetable fiber powders, (S2) mixing the vegetable fiber powders with the natural vegetable adhesive, rolling and cutting them into a predetermined length, forming them into the shape of container through a mold, (S6) heating and solidifying the formed container for a time more than 1 hour in a constant temperature room with blowing by an electric fan, and (S8) coating a paint on the container. |
