In a system using a recording medium containing a plurality of attribute information groups whose types are not specified, it is possible to eliminate the disadvantage caused by that the attribute type of the attribute information is not constant. An attribute information control apparatus has attribute information read-out means for reading out a recorded content from a recording medium containing unspecified types of attribute information groups concerning a specific person or thing. Attribute condition acceptance means accepts a condition concerning one or more attribute information sets which are requested to be acquired, from an attribute information use apparatus using the attribute information. The condition under which the use attribute condition notification means has been accepted is notified to an operator who is a manager of the attribute information group. Attribute condition selection acceptance means accepts the selection of the notified condition from the operator. Permission attribute information extraction means controls the attribute information read-out means, so as to extract attribute information matched with the selected condition from the recording medium, and transmits the attribute information for which the extraction attribute information transmission means is extracted, to the attribute information use apparatus.
