PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting the properties of illegal gasoline is provided to easily and rapidly inspect the possibility of illegal gasoline. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for inspecting the properties of illegal gasoline comprises specific gravity detecting means(52, 53, 54) with a specific gravity indicator which detects the specific gravity of gasoline at constant temperature or a change of the specific gravity of gasoline according to the temperature; a vapor pressure detecting means(55) which detects the vapor pressure of gasoline; and a compound detecting means(60) which detects lower carbohydrate and aromatic compounds in the gasoline, wherein the vapor pressure detecting means(55) comprises a heater(58) and a temperature controller(59).
