<p>The present invention relates to a method and a device for setting of the transport length at working machines, comprising a driving means with a feed wheel for a pair of feed tongs, a first and a second stop for the pair of feed tongs, whereas the feed wheel (25) is set in start position (zero position) according to a marking at the wheel, a moveable shaft (8) provided in the first stop is displaced parallel with the movement of the pair of feed tongs to contact with the lower portion (3) of the pair of feed tongs by turning of the set knob (13) and the fine set knob (20) and that a second moveable shaft (7) provided in the second stop is displaced parallel to the movement of the pair of feed tongs to contact with the lower portion (3) of the pair of feed tongs whereupon the desired transport length is set by displacement of the shaft (7) by turning of the set knob (22) and the fine set knob (29).</p> |
