PURPOSE: A deformation correcting apparatus for a rotary kiln is provided to improve productivity by lifting up a deformation part using a hydraulic cylinder when a deformation is created in the rotary kiln. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sensors(S1) are fixedly installed at an outer peripheral portion of a rotary kiln(1). A position detecting sensor(S2) is fixedly installed at a lower portion of the rotary kiln(1). The position detecting sensor(S2) is spaced from the sensors(S1) by a predetermined distance. A supporter(110) is provided to support a lower portion of the rotary kiln(1). An actuating section(120) is installed at a lower portion of the supporter(110) so as to lift up a sagged part of the rotary kiln(1). A control section(130) operates the actuating section(120) based on a signal transmitted from the position detecting sensor(S2).
