PURPOSE: A water supply device for a washing machine is provided to reduce the use amount of detergent, and to improve washing efficiency without damage of the laundry by accelerating reaction on ceramic with forming rotary stream in feeding water and supplying alkalified water to a washing tub and a dehydrating tub. CONSTITUTION: A water supply apparatus of a washing machine is composed of a water supply hose(83) feeding water; a water storage part(90) storing ceramic reacting on washing water for alkalifying water and connecting to the water supply hose with tilting; and a feed valve(82) opening and closing the outlet of the water storage part to supply water from the water storage part to a washing tub(54) and a dehydrating tub(56). Rotary stream is formed by feeding washing water to the water storage part in tilting, and hydroxyl ion is generated with reacting on ceramic balls(92). Washing is performed efficiently without damage of the laundry, and the consumption of detergent is reduced by supplying alkalified water to the washing tub and the dehydrating tub. |
