PURPOSE: A tunneling method is provided to execute tunnel construction works exactly and easily. CONSTITUTION: The tunneling method comprises the steps of: pitting a thrust site(1), then installing a guideline(60) and a pressure jack(10) in the thrust site(1); forming a pilot hole between a thrust site(1) and a reach site(2) by a drill; expanding the pilot hole by a reamer(42) repeatedly; and locating a laying pipe(30) on the guideline(60) in the thrust site(1) and press-fitting the pipe(30) toward the reach site(2) by the pressure jack(10), connecting a traction coupler extended from the reach site(2) to the front of the pipe(30), then pulling toward the reach site(2), so that the soil flowing in the pipe(30) is removed to the outside of the pipe(30) while the pipe(30) moves forward.
