The de-icer consists of a duct (7) delivering hot air to a cavity (6) inside the skin (4) fitted with an inner closed envelope (10) with an inlet (9) for the pipe. The envelope has a supple wall with air permeable zones (12, 13) that form a thin channel with the skin's inner surface when the envelope is inflated through which hot air can circulate. The envelope is made from a fabric with fibres adapted to the air temperature and impregnated with an anti-friction coating. The inlet (9) is in the form of a neck that is fastened to the end of the hot air pipe by a fixing (11).
