PURPOSE: A drum brake of a large commercial vehicle is provided to reduce the time and cost required for changing a lining, by changing the lining without stripping a hub. CONSTITUTION: In a drum brake of a large commercial vehicle, a hub(6) is mounted to a shaft of a knuckle, a drum is mounted to a flange(6a) of the hub, by a hub bolt and a nut, and a brake shoe(16), having linings(15) to a pin hole of an anchor bracket mounted to the knuckle, is mounted inside the drum by anchor pins(12). The drum is mounted on the outer surface of the flange of the hub. Both edges of the lower part of the anchor bracket are incised and thus, the side-lower part of the pin hole is opened. The anchor pin is mounted to the pin hole by a retainer mounted to the anchor bracket. The top and bottom surfaces of the pin hole, and the top and bottom surfaces of the anchor pin are formed as plane surfaces. A groove is formed in the peripheral surface of the end portion of the anchor pin, and the end portion of the retainer is fitted into the groove. Accordingly, the drum and the anchor pin are disassembled without stripping the hub.
