PURPOSE: Provided is a pharmaceutical composition which consists of an adhesive single layer containing a drug, or a double layer containing the single layer and a non-permeable support layer(with an adhesion force or not). The composition is capable of adhering to skin or a wet mucous surface(the stomach, small bowl, mouth, sexual organs) and controlling quick or continuous release of drugs. Therefore, it maximizes the therapeutic effect thereof. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition having adhesiveness to a wet mucous surface is prepared by casting a composition containing 1 to 25% by weight of a drug, 40 to 60% by weight of an aqueous polymer, 0 to 20% by weight of a plasticizer and 0 to 20% by weight of a sweetening agent into a mold release agent and then forming it into a film. The drug is selected from Sildenafil or a salt thereof, domperidone, oxicam non-steroidal analgesic and anti-inflammatory agents, ambroxol, simvastatin, atorvastatin, thiazolidinedione-based diabetes treating agents, ampicillin, amoxicillin, lidocaine and procaine.
