PURPOSE: A polymer composition, a pharmaceutical composition containing the polymer composition and its preparation method are provided, wherein the polymer composition forms stable micelles or nanoparticles capable of delivering hardly-soluble drugs in an aqueous solution. CONSTITUTION: The polymer composition comprises an amphiphilic block copolymer consisting of a hydrophilic block and a hydrophobic block, and a poly(lactic acid) derivative containing terminal carboxylic acid groups, wherein the terminal carboxylic acid groups of the poly(lactic acid) derivative are fixed with divalent or trivalent metal ions. Preferably the amphiphilic block copolymer comprises a hydrophilic block selected from the group consisting of polyalkylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, poly(vinyl pyrrolidone), poly(vinyl alcohol) and polyacrylamide; and the hydrophobic block selected from the group consisting of polylactide, polyglycolide, polydioxan-2-one, polycaprolactone, polylactic-co-glycolide, polylactic-co-caprolactone and polylactic-co-dioxan-2-one.
