PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for treating the contaminated soil by the single unit of which heavy metals can be melted and treated at high temperature, fine particles of the contaminated soil produced by the high-temperature treatment can be surely captured and water can be treated as well as heavy metals and to provide a heating furnace and a dust collector to be used suitably in this system. SOLUTION: The heating furnace (a VOC drier) (2) to be used in this system has an evaporating and melting chamber (2a) and a secondary combustion chamber (2b). A part of the secondary combustion gas (the gas heated in the chamber (2b)) is supplied to the dust collector (6) through heated gas current piping (L2) and another part of the secondary combustion gas is returned to the chamber (2a) by a pressing means (for example, an ejector and a compressor) (4).
