PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the width of game property by allowing a player to take part in deciding of prize-winning of a jackpot. SOLUTION: A slot machine is provided with a start instruction part 6 for starting the variable display of patterns; respective stoppage instruction parts 7a to 7c for stopping the variable display of respective display columns; a lottery part which is provided with a prize group lottery table storing lottery sections corresponding to a group of prizes which is the group of one or more jackpots and lottery of a blank, a selection table storing a plurality of groups of jackpots corresponding to the operating mode of the respective stoppage instruction parts and the lottery table of the groups of the jackpots storing lottery sections corresponding to the plurality of the groups of the jackpots for selecting the group of the prizes of lottery of a blank from the prize group lottery table; a detection parts for detecting the operation mode of a player to respective stoppage parts; a selection part for selecting a jackpot or lottery of a blank based on the operation mode by referring to the detected mode and the selection table when the group of the prizes including the groups of the jackpots is lotted by the lottery group of the group of the prizes; and a control part for controlling the stoppage positions of the patterns based on selecting result of the selecting part.
