PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massager in which massaging and air massaging can be applied to the same part of a human body by mechanically driven therapeutic elements. SOLUTION: A main body 2 of a chair provided with a massage mechanism 11 equipped with therapeutic elements 21 movable by mechanical driving is provided with a cover 51 incorporated with air bags 61-63 covering the therapeutic elements 21. Air is fed to and exhausted from the air bags 61-63 by an air feeding/exhausting device and the massager is used by expanding/shrinking the air bags 61-63. By expanding/shrinking the air bags 61-63 in the cover 51 overlaying the therapeutic elements 21, air massaging can be performed and by driving the therapeutic elements 21, mechanical massaging can be performed to the same part of the human body applied with such air massaging.
