PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water repellent agent, which has water repellent durability for longer time than that of a water repellent agent containing an amino- modified silicone, give no bad influence like corrosion to coatings and metals around glasses, and is harmless to the human body of workers, and to provide a water repellent method. SOLUTION: The water repellent agent is characterized by containing an alkoxytitanate a silicone compound except for the amino-modified silicone, and an organic solvent and a water repellent method for glass is also described.
