PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console capable of providing an excellent designability while providing a guide part storage space function and an arm rest lifting function. SOLUTION: This console 1 comprises a guide part 2 vertically installed at the rear part 102 thereof, an arm rest 3 installed liftably relative to the guide part 2, a lifting mechanism 4 for performing the lifting operation of the arm rest 3 relative to the guide part 2, and an arrangement part 12 for arranging the arm rest 3 when the arm rest 3 is lowered. The guide part 2 comprises a storage part 21 for storing therein small parts and an open/close cover 22 for opening and closing an opening part 211 in the storage part 21 installed at the front and rear sides of the guide part 2.
