HEAT-SHRINKABLE PACKAGING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable packaging material with which a load applied to environments in disposal after unsealing is reduced to prevent environmental pollution by taking advantage of easiness in disposal of a biodegradable resin.

SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable packaging material 4 is made by heat- sealing ends of a film to each other into a tubular form, putting the tubular film over a product and heat-shrinking the tubular film for tightening and fixing. The material has a biodegradable heat-shrinkable film as a base 10 and includes thereon a print layer 16 with an aliphatic polyester comprising poly-lactic segments and poly-glycerin segments as a main binder. The print layer 16 is coated with an overcoat layer 14 comprising a mixture of a poly-lactic-acid- based resin having the poly-lactic segments and the poly-glycerin segments, and a polysaccharide soluble in an organic solvent. The material 4 includes a heat-sealing agent layer 12 mainly containing a biodegradable polyester and biodegradable wax at ends of the base 10.
