FIELD: measurement technology, proximity measurement of octane number of gasoline. SUBSTANCE: facility incorporating variable-capacitance transducer with built-in temperature-sensitive element and processing and indication unit is supplemented with first RC generator, second RC generator and handle. Variable-capacitance transducer with built-in temperature-sensitive element, first and second RC generators which frequency depends on octane number and temperature of gasoline and interface with personal computer are installed in body of handle.
