The invention relates to a method for carrying out a passive, keyless utilisation authorisation check in a motor vehicle. According to said method, bi-directional communication takes place between a transceiver assigned to the motor vehicle and several mobile transponders assigned to said motor vehicle for carrying out a utilisation authorisation check, by means of a wireless transmission link. During the communication protocol, a selection and/or location method permits a transponder from the group of transponders assigned to said motor vehicle to be determined, said transponder being located within an authorised operating zone. The invention is characterised in that for the selection and/or location method, an individual interrogation of a transponder on the vehicle side takes into account the utilisation pattern and/or the utilisation frequency of the transponders during previous opening and or closing operations of the motor vehicle. |
