<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an inkjet recording ink exhibiting dispersion or dissolution stability without causing a change in the size of ink drops and a change in the delivery velocity of ink drops, poor ink delivery, and a like problem. <P>SOLUTION: The water-base ink is an ink used in an inkjet printer in which a member coming into contact with the ink is at least partially made of silicon, glass, or a membrane thereof on which any one of an oxide, a nitride, a metal, and an organic compound is formed, wherein the zeta potential between the member and a colorant is 0 to -50 mV at a pH of 6.5-11.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
