<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain air bag structure for a vehicle capable of suppressing change of expansion shape of a curtain air bag body expanding toward the lower part in a cabin. <P>SOLUTION: This curtain air bag structure has a curtain air bag device 8 for swelling and expanding an air bag body 9 toward the lower part in the cabin from the gap between the upper end 6a of a pillar trim 6 mounted to a side surface in the cabin of a center pillar part 18 that is disposed on a roof side inner panel 3 extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle along a side edge of a roof part 2 of the vehicle 17 and is extended downward and a side edge 14a of a head lining 14 mounted to a side surface in the cabin of the roof part 2. The roof side inner panel 3 is provided with a central storing bracket 20 for storing the folded air bag body 9, and the lower end of a mounting piece 29 in the central storing bracket 20 is provided with a pillar mounting part 31 to be fixed to a pillar inner panel 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
