<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently make a matured compost-like material by enhancing treatment ability per volume of the main body of a heater in a method of making the matured compost-like material by heating and drying organic wastes, then post treating the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of making the matured compost-like material by charging the prescribed amount of the organic wastes into a heating vessel 1 and heating and drying the wastes, then post reating the wastes, the prescribed amount of the organic wasets are divided to≥2 and are intermittently charged into the heating vessel 1.
