STENCIL PRINTING BASE PAPER, METHOD FOR PLATEMAKING AND METHOD FOR PRINTING STENCIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stencil printing base paper which can be obtained by a simple manufacturing method, in which an ink transfer amount can be suppressed to a suitable amount when a low viscosity ink having 0.001 to 1 Pa.s, the thermal deformation at the time of platemaking is suppressed and which has excellent dimensional reproducibility and to provide a method for platemaking and a method for printing the stencil.

SOLUTION: The stencil printing base paper comprises a porous resin film formed on one surface of a porous support in such a manner that the gas permeability rate of the support is 90 s/100 cc or less, the gas permeability rate of the porous resin film is 600 s/100 cc or less and the gas permeability rate of the porous support≤the gas permeability rate of the porous resin is preferably satisfied.
