PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic container having a hologram which can be applied for a mass production and can attach the hologram without additional manufacturing steps for the metallic container and further to provide a method for manufacturing the metallic container. SOLUTION: A hologram 12 constituted by a groove 12a extending along a forming direction of a metallic container 10 and having a regular characteristic is formed in at least a part of the surface of the metallic container 10. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to attach the hologram 12 by the groove 12a having a regular characteristic to be attached by a forming tool for the metallic container 10 and further it becomes possible to perform a mass production without increasing the number of manufacturing steps.
