PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device for a vehicle capable of supplying brake working fluid remaining in a reservoir after anti-lock brake control or in diagnosing a failure to a master cylinder without operating a self sucking pump, without providing an additional components or brake working fluid channel in an existing hydraulic unit. SOLUTION: In a brake non-control state in starting a vehicle, an AV valve 72 is opened when the vehicle speed reaches a first specified speed, thereby communicating a master cylinder 104 with the reservoir 75 via liquid. A pressurizing means possessed to the reservoir 75 supplies brake working liquid remaining in the reservoir 75 to the master cylinder 104 through a route shown by a symbol A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
